Moneywiz for mac1/14/2024 ![]() Result: would be a go for me but I didn't change as I had already paid for a Banktivity subscription which I do not want to waste. The UI is almost like Banktivity so no big change here. I had only problems with two accounts ( very small problem ) and more importantly: my investment holdings showed up 100% correct. SeeFinance on the other hand has a fantastic QIF file import feature allowing several files to be imported at the same time. I ended up with numerous accounts completely out of balance and more importantly none of my investment holdings did show up.Result: A no go for me ! Moneywiz can only handle them individually. With Moneywiz I had huge problems when migrating my data using the Banktivity generated QIF files. I am using Banktivity as well for several years and after they introduced recently the subscription plans I started exploring other alternatives: Is it my fault being a European? That IEX is nonsense for me. Yes I have contacted their customer support, but they just seem completely uninterested in me. I would really prefer a personal finance app, however not if it does the same customer hating things like Banktivity. This didn’t work either: a couple of my securities prices didn’t download. According to Macmostvideo there’s a work around with Google sheets. Numbers? - doesn’t update the security quotes for me. I have read in some of the other threads that some of you also aren’t completely satisfied with Banktivity these days.also I have read that some of you have some suggestions to alternatives. What do you think are the best options instead of Banktivity? I’ve only downloaded the csv-files and as said the security quotes. I have never done the Direct Access, I think it’s risky to give out your online bank information. Especially after already having payed approx. Now they offer you various subscriptions and I’m not very interested in those. For me this is enough to move away from Banktivity, especially since I will be investing in several more securities. But mid June 2020 the security quotes were no longer updated, I had then only my stocks on the Stockholm stock exchange (Nasdaq Stockholm).
